It is a peer reviewed, annual publication devoted to the study of language, translation and culture, with a special focus on translation in its many oral and written manifestations. The journal is not bound to any particular school of thought or academic group.

In this issue, the authors dissect the state of the art in translation technology and translation tool development and provide quantitative and qualitative answers to the question 'how useful is translation technology?'
